My legs were a little sore from the “time trial” I did Saturday so I took it easy today, and did my ride seated. I went for about 3 hours at a comfortable pace. The result was interesting because I can’t see my heart rate during the ride, it’s on my phone in my pocket. It turns out what feels like a comfortable pace seated for me is less of a workout than standing. I knew that put the extent surprised my: my Max heart rate was 115 while my average was only 90. That means I can push what feels like a little harder if I want without overdoing it.
